Costs of training requirements
Before you start your CPL-H training, you must meet some requirements that are outlined for you here. These costs are not included in the offers.
Examination fees
The examination fees are unfortunately not included in the overall price of the fixed price offers! These fees must be paid directly to the examiner or to the authorities when the licence is issued.
Can further costs arise?
Additional costs only arise if you require more than the legally stipulated number of hours. Then Heli Aviation will invoice you separately for the additional flying hours including flight instructor, briefing, fuel and landing charges.

ATPL(H) training with credits
The ATPL(H) training with credits as an airline transport pilot is possible exclusively as a modular training course.
In order to obtain the ATPL(H) theory credit, the trainee pilot (PPL(H) licence holder) must complete additional theory instruction. This instruction takes place in the Heli Aviation TRAINING ACADEMY, 400 hours computer based training (CBT) in self study.
In order to be able to prepare optimally for the CBT, each trainee pilot receives the necessary complete learning documents and extensive personal instructions before the computer based training.

ATPL(H) training course
The ATPL(H) training course is also available exclusively as modular training.
Otherwise, the practical training as an ATPL(H) pilot would take place on a helicopter with two engines and this would unnecessarily multiply the training costs. The Airline Transport Pilot License (H) entitles helicopter pilots to be the responsible pilot on commercial helicopters that require a one or two man crew in accordance with their licence.
The practical training is identical to the CPL(H) commercial pilot training and only the theoretical part of the course is different.

Please note that our fixed price offers relate to completion of your training within the legally required training times, excluding costs incurred for meeting training pre-requisites and examination fees.
Attaining the examination standard is individual and depends on the personal performance of the individual trainee pilot. If additional practical training hours including flight instructor, briefing, fuel and country fees are required, incalculable costs arise that must be added to the fixed price.
