Short Augsburg tour

Your sightseeing tour takes off directly from the commercial airport in the north of Augsburg. It continues in a long left curve around the urban centre to Wellenburg castle, which was acquired by Jakob Fugger III in 1595 and is still inhabited by members of the famous Fugger family today. From here, the tour continues towards the city centre. From the air, discover various sights of the old town of Augsburg, the town hall and cathedral, for example, as well as the Wertach and Lech rivers.

Further highlights include the old stadium and the new football arena of FC Augsburg, the SGL arena. In good weather, you can also enjoy a spectacular view of the Alps.

Last but not least, the medieval town of Friedberg with its Wittelsbach Castle. The tour subsequently continues via Dasing and along the A8 back to Augsburg airport.

Following personal consultation, we will be happy to prepare a comprehensive sightseeing route for you. The destinations of Donauwörth, Dillingen, or Landsberg am Lech, for example, can easily be reached on a 35-minute sightseeing flight. If you choose Ammersee, Lake Starnberg or perhaps Munich as a sightseeing flight destination, the flight time is between 45 and 60 minutes.
