Questions on sightseeing flights

Do special clothes have to be worn?

There is no restriction with regards to clothing as long as you can get in and out of the helicopter. We recommend that you wear comfortable casual clothes and sturdy shoes.

Why is there a weight restriction?

The weight restriction is based on statutory and technical requirements. To ensure that helicopters can take off, fly and land again safely, they have a weight restriction per seat. As an aviation company we are obliged to check and comply with these restrictions. Furthermore, in order to guarantee safe air operation we must ensure that the permissible start weight of the helicopter is not exceeded.

Can friends and relatives be brought along?

You can bring along as many people as you like. The sightseeing flight itself is understandably only for those for whom the voucher or sightseeing flight was booked.

Is it permitted to film or take photographs during the sightseeing flights?

Of course you are permitted to film and take photographs during the entire sightseeing flight. Please ensure that your camera is attached firmly to you body (e.g. to the wrist). Bulky professional equipment may only be taken on board by arrangement. The air traffic and other air passengers must not be obstructed.

Is it possible to spontaneously book a sightseeing flight at the airfield?

Yes, it is. However, you only have the opportunity to fly immediately during our regular sightseeing flight days (depending on availability). We recommend that you make a short phone call to arrange the flight. In this way, you can avoid long waiting times at the airfield and know with certainty that you will fly. You can book sightseeing flights on dates other than the sightseeing flight days but a date for the flight must first be agreed. For our helicopters are frequently in use and not always available at the respective location.
